Matt Holman leverages broad experience working across healthcare sectors to identify, create, and strengthen meaningful partnerships and interactions between Echo Health Ventures companies and their target customers.

Prior to joining Echo, Matt spent over a decade in management consulting, where he provided insight and analysis to shape transformative strategies and transactions for some of the largest organizations in healthcare, including major payers, providers, pharma/biotech companies, and global health organizations. Much of Matt’s work focused on strategies to enable healthcare organizations to become more nimble and consumer-oriented as they navigated health reform and an uncertain future. Specific areas of expertise include development of value-based care approaches, retail/exchange capabilities, government programs (Medicare/Medicaid) strategies, and diversification/M&A.

Matt earned his Master of Business Administration and Master of Public Health degrees from the University of California at Berkeley, and his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California.

Matt lives with his wife, son, and dog in Seattle where they enjoy hiking, cycling, skiing, and otherwise enjoying the opportunities for outdoor adventure in the Pacific Northwest. Matt is also a founding Board member of Tiny Trees, an innovative outdoor preschool model that transforms city, county, state parks into experiential classrooms that improve equity and access to early childhood education.
