Global Corporate Venturing this week honored two Echo Health Ventures leaders: Suzanne McLemore, Managing Partner and Head of Echo Health Advisors; and Annie Weissbach, Senior Associate on the Strategic Investment team.

McLemore was recognized as one of the 2025 Emerging Leaders, 50 corporate venture capital (CVC) executives “typically in the mid-stage of their career and emerging as top performers.”

Weissbach was honored as one of the 2025 Rising Stars, 50 leaders “typically at an earlier stage of their careers but already achieving outsized success.”

In her GCV award profile, McLemore said she enjoys connecting Echo’s Blue plan members, Echo portfolio companies and other stakeholders. “We bring people together to help understand where there is commonality and where there are differences that truly matter to innovation.”

Weissbach, meanwhile, told GCV that it’s important to focus your priorities in corporate venturing. “Define from the beginning where you as an investor and you as a fund will be disciplined and really maintain an orientation on that definition. It can evolve, but never have that definition far from your mind.”
